"TIME WELL-SPENT"
People spend their days off differently. Some people want to be lazy, while others want to be productive. I'm in between. Just like most people, I usually spend my days off at home. Watching movies is my favorite past time. I watch movies to relax and escape the problems in life. They take me to my wildest adventure without leaving my house. They offer a window onto the wider world and opening my eyes to new wonders. However, I don’t watch movies while lying in bed with socks on. Rather, I watch movies while doing laundry, folding clothes, washing dishes and cooking. I can enjoy performing my tasks in this manner.

I enjoy traveling, visiting new places and embarking on new adventures. Yes, I spend most of my time outside the house, but my home will always be my favorite. It is the best place in this world. Nothing compares to the delight of being at home after an exhausting day. It's the happiness I feel as soon as I step through the door. Seeing those who patiently awaited my return. At home, I'm free to be myself. I can do what I love to do. I can spend time with my family and enjoy each others company. A home is not just simply bricks and walls. Home is made up of memories, moments that have shaped all of us.
"UNWINDING WITH NATURE"
This is a picture my friend took when we went to Dalaguete, Cebu. When I visit a new place, one of the things that I do is to hike. To some people, it might just be for exercise, others for the view, but for me, it’s more than that. Every bit along the way is enjoyable. When I'm at the top, glancing at the things below me, all problems and worries seem to drift away. It’s almost as if I'm safe on this mountain and no one can touch me, that’s one of the best feelings in the world.

One of my favorite Filipino street food is barbecue. The heart-warming, mouth-watering aroma of sizzling barbecue is very inviting. It’s delectable and enjoyable. You can smell it from your house even if it is coming from the end of the street. Well, it’s contagious too. It makes you want to have it!
"RESSETING WITH SUNSET"
This breathtaking view is a picture of the sunset in San Remigio, my beloved hometown. Watching the whole sky of clouds light up in gorgeous shades of red and orange makes me feel calm. I love the quietness, the stillness, and the slowly darkening of the world. For me, the sunset shows that an end of a journey can also be beautiful.
"LECHON: STAR OF THE TABLE"
For Filipinos, lechon baboy is one of the most popular traditional dishes. It is a whole pig that is roasted over charcoal in a low heat. The long hours of roasting leaves the meat very tender and the skin very crispy. When I attend fiestas, birthday parties, and other large gatherings, I always keep an eye on the mouth-watering lechon.
