Books may be categorized into genres. They may share similar vibes and stories, but the way we read and understand them can feel completely different. Even the same book can take on new meaning as we grow, shaped by who we are in the moment. That's what makes reading so special—readers bring their own perspective into every story through their imagination, creativity, and personality. Here's another look into the cozy reading lives of our book club members.

1: What are you currently reading?
I'm currently reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. It is a Beauty and the Beast reimagining that intertwines faerie lore with high fantasy.
2: Where do you usually read?
I usually read in my room because I can freely react however I want. It is the best place when the characters are getting interesting or the plot is getting hyped up.
3: How do you enjoy your reading experience?
I like to read slowly, especially if the story is really good. I enjoy savoring every line while visualizing the scenes in each chapter. It helps me truly enjoy the story and remember the details by heart.
4: Do you like having coffee, tea, or snacks while reading? What’s that extra oomph that makes your reading time more enjoyable?
No, I don't like to eat or drink anything except water to stay hydrated while enjoying a book. I prefer it that way so I can focus without worrying about getting my book dirty or accidentally spilling something on it. The "extra oomph" for me is playing music that matches the story—and when it rains too, it’s the best combination ever.

1: What are you currently reading?
I'm currently reading Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson which is the sequel to A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.
2: Where do you usually read?
I usually read at home and at work when I have spare time. Moreover, I also like to read in cafés and libraries with my book girlies in silence.
3: How do you enjoy your reading experience?
I enjoy my reading experience in different ways. Most of the time, I usually play classical or instrumental music, or a playlist that matches the aesthetic or vibe of the book I'm reading. In addition, I also annotate some of my books using tabs, highlighters, pens, and pencils, depending on the book.
4: Do you like having coffee, tea, or snacks while reading? What’s that extra oomph that makes your reading time more enjoyable?
I like having cold milk while reading. I think the extra oomph that makes my reading time more enjoyable is a combination of music and a comfy blanket and pillows (plus my plushies) around me.
For some readers, music adds depth and meaning to their reading experience. However, what truly makes each reading world unique are the small personal touches in every routine.
We look forward to exploring more of our members' reading journeys. ♥
