Different readers have different habits, and that makes every reading journey unique and special. While some readers keep notebooks close by to fill with memorable lines and personal reflections, others find comfort in quiet corners where they can enjoy other simple pleasures as they read. Let's take a closer look at how our members make reading more meaningful through their own ways.

1: What are you currently reading?
As of now, I am reading my 11th book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. So far, I find this book interesting and entertaining, but at the same time, it feels like I am invading someone's privacy because the story is written in a diary- and letter-style format.
2: Where do you usually read?
Well, since I am usually at work, I often read the books I borrow at the office. Sometimes, when I have a long break, I bring a book with me and read at home or somewhere that helps me stay focused, such as a café or a library.
3: How do you enjoy your reading experience?
I started a new habit late last year because I felt that the books I read were becoming messy from all the highlighting and writing on the pages. Now, instead of writing directly in the book, I keep a notebook with me. Whenever I come across a striking line or chapter, I write it down. After finishing a book, I also record my thoughts, feeling, and opinions so that I can reflect on and remember the story later.
In terms of reading speed, I consider myself a fast reader. Whenever I become deeply interested in a book and it sparks my imagination, I find it hard to stop reading. Some books also make me very emotional—I sometimes scream at the fictional characters! I have never tried listening to music while reading because I prefer a quiet atmosphere.
4: Do you like having coffee, tea, or snacks while reading? What’s that extra oomph that makes your reading time more enjoyable?
I like to keep things simple. I prefer reading without any food or drinks nearby so that my focus stays on the story—unless I am really, really hungry. In that case, I eat first and then return to my book. For me, all I need is a book, a notebook, and a pen.

1: What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading a series of Dramione fanfictions on my phone. If you are a fan like me, I highly recommend Aurelian.
2: Where do you usually read?
Since I read on my phone, I can read almost anywhere. However, I have two favorite places. One is my room, where I can read while lying on my bed or sitting at my study table. The other is the hammock under the jackfruit tree at home. The breeze and the sunlight peering through the branches and leaves make it feel especially relaxing and serene.
3: How do you enjoy your reading experience?
When I read at my study table, I like having a movie or TV series playing in the background. It's very stimulating for my brain, like multitasking.
4: Do you like having coffee, tea, or snacks while reading? What’s that extra oomph that makes your reading time more enjoyable?
Snacks and drinks? Definitely! But what gives me that extra oomph is the warmth of my dog curled up on my lap or stomach. We love to cuddle.
At the end of the day, there's no single "right" way to be a reader—only what feels right for you. Each reading habit tells a story of its own. Through these shared experiences, we're reminded that reading is more than just a hobby—it's a magical escape, a comfort, a connection to something bigger. So wherever or however you read, may your next book bring you the same warmth, wonder, and joy that keeps every reading coming back for more. ♥
